The referee ignored Quandary's protests and gave Carleton Neich a yellow card for diving instead. Carleton Neich kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burns Willding during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quandary's Burns Willding got a free kick in the 29th minute. Larry Mitchell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. In the 62nd minute, Carleton Neich reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barnett Samuels. The goal made the score 0-3. Barnett Samuels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Mitchell in the 67th minute of the match. If Carleton Neich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Lannercost's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Mitchell came free, but Barnett Samuels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Quandary's Carleton Neich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barnett Samuels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carleton Neich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnett Samuels having to interfere. Darin Kaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larry Mitchell charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larry Mitchell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Quandary got a freekick which was hit by Larry Mitchell. The Lannercost fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quandary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
