Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Larry Mitchell got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Burns Willding managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quandary's supporters rose to their feet, but Burns Willding was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iggi Burmeister breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarbucks's Iggi Burmeister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burns Willding in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Carleton Neich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iggi Burmeister was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Carleton Neich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarbucks's Iggi Burmeister was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Carleton Neich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iggi Burmeister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curtis Shortus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Andrews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burns Willding during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quandary's Burns Willding got a free kick in the 27th minute. Carver Grieve took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Curtis Shortus. Quandary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tarbucks's Iggi Burmeister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carleton Neich in the 34th minute of play. Curtis Shortus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Long Whittington in the 35th minute. A hard shot by Earl Auger from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Curtis Shortus's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tarbucks's Iggi Burmeister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Bleazard in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Quandary's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Andrews came free, but Curtis Shortus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Quandary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Andrews to make the kick off. If Jonathan Andrews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes, Danny Allcock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quandary and the Tarbucks players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Quandary getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Danny Allcock hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Randall Delahide sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Curtis Shortus skillfully saved the ball. Curtis Shortus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Andrews in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Long Whittington ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Curtis Shortus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Michael Maunsell lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Quandary:s Curtis Shortus showed great skill when he stopped Carver Grieve:s penalty. After 69 played minutes Quandary got a freekick which was hit by Burns Willding. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Andrews's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Curtis Shortus was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When Carleton Neich fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quandary's protests and gave Carleton Neich a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Carleton Neich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carleton Neich in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iggi Burmeister saved Tarbucks from getting behind. Iggi Burmeister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Mitchell in the 94th minute of play.
