Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sherbrooke's Rodney Wayland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sherbrooke's Dalwood Jeffress played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Gavin in the 5th minute of play. Rodney Wayland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Reilly having to interfere. Dalwood Jeffress didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pearce Gavin went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Brice Christina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Reilly having to interfere. Brice Christina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Pearce Gavin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sherbrooke's Dalwood Jeffress. Dalwood Jeffress was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sherbrooke getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Brice Christina hit a great ball. Edwin Turnbull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalwood Jeffress having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Bower was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Alwege to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm Reilly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brice Christina in the 39th minute. Edwin Turnbull sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pearce Gavin to make the kick off. Edmund Alwege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dalwood Jeffress tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brice Christina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pearce Gavin in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dalwood Jeffress, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dalwood Jeffress made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pearce Gavin in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Edmund Alwege left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bower fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 72 minutes into the match, Sherbrooke's goalkeeper Dalwood Jeffress had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Turnbull. Pearce Gavin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalwood Jeffress having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, one of Bower:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bower:s Malcolm Reilly showed great skill when he stopped Eavan Mcinnes:s penalty. In the 95th minute, Pearce Gavin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
