Tarbucks's supporters rose to their feet, but Long Whittington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Coote breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaffery Mueller hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Tarbucks's Long Whittington sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnold Coote narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Long Whittington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarbucks's supporters rose to their feet, but Long Whittington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Coote breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Curtis Caddick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jaffery Mueller hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Arnold Coote stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Andrews's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Curtis Caddick to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnold Coote made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolph Perandis in the 52nd minute. Arnold Coote made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Long Whittington sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Curtis Caddick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iggi Burmeister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Jonathan Andrews reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnold Coote. The goal made the score 1-1. Tarbucks's Iggi Burmeister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Caddick in the 66th minute of play. Arnold Coote tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarbucks's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
