Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Broderick Allcock started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Marian fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Marian's Max Beer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. James Staggard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Marian's Max Beer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ethan Howarth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, Villawood-Lansvale's goal looked a bit too open when Max Beer came free, but Ethan Howarth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Domenichetti's late challenge caught a Marian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Domenichetti helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Villawood-Lansvale getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dante Domenichetti hit a great ball. Ethan Howarth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Beer in the 22nd minute of play. Villawood-Lansvale's Ethan Howarth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Staggard in the 23rd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Max Beer made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Villawood-Lansvale's Ethan Howarth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Max Beer scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ethan Howarth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Villawood-Lansvale's goal looked a bit too open when James Staggard came free, but Ethan Howarth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Max Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Max Beer made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Marian's James Staggard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ethan Howarth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ethan Howarth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Beer in the 57th minute of the match. James Staggard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ethan Howarth made a huge save. Max Beer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Howarth having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Villawood-Lansvale's goal looked a bit too open when Max Beer came free, but Ethan Howarth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, James Staggard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Max Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marian's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Beer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ethan Howarth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 77 minutes, Hans Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Max Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Toth kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Max Beer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Villawood-Lansvale fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marian were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
