The supporters of Wolf Pack booed when Marian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Crawford Cave didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Eavan Bower left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolf Pack fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bern Coote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Remy Schultz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darren Freel hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Max Beer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phenix Greenan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eavan Bower had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Marian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Boyd to maneuver through the defense. Wolf Pack's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Max Beer scored to the left of an out of position Phenix Greenan, making the score, 1-1. If Hans Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Max Beer made the kick off in the second half. Phenix Greenan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Beer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. From a short distance, Wolf Pack's Eavan Bower, in the 56th minute, tried to place the ball behind Remy Schultz, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. 63 minutes into the match, Marian's goalkeeper Remy Schultz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eavan Bower. James Staggard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phenix Greenan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marian's Crawford Cave got a free kick in the 70th minute. 79 minutes into the game, James Staggard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Phenix Greenan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eavan Bower struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Remy Schultz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolf Pack. In the 88th minute, Darren Freel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Charles Fasey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolf Pack's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Fasey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remy Schultz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bern Coote in the 96th minute of play forced Marian's goalkeeper Remy Schultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Wolf Pack's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Wolf Pack may have spent more time on the ball, but Marian were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
