After a rather tough play, Runnymede's Bleyd Tupman got a free kick in the 6th minute. Remy Schultz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Bostock, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Marian's Remy Schultz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Marian from getting a goal against them. Remy Schultz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Bostock in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Payne Bohn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runnymede's supporters rose to their feet, but Payne Bohn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remy Schultz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Runnymede's goal looked a bit too open when James Staggard came free, but Bo Allen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biddle Dowling kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Runnymede getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Andrews Russell hit a great ball. Bo Allen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Beer in the 28th minute of the match. Bo Allen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of James Staggard's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Payne Bohn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remy Schultz. Marian's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Payne Bohn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Benson Morey fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marian's protests and gave Benson Morey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Benson Morey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Runnymede got a freekick which was hit by Payne Bohn. Payne Bohn struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Remy Schultz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runnymede. Payne Bohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remy Schultz having to interfere. In the 44th minute Max Beer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Allen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Staggard in the 47th minute of play forced Runnymede's goalkeeper Bo Allen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Max Beer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bart Bostock was the one to do the kick off. Max Beer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Marian booed when Runnymede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biddle Dowling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Beer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Allen having to interfere. James Staggard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Allen having to interfere. James Staggard was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Marian's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Staggard got free with Bo Allen in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Beer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. James Staggard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Allen having to interfere. If Bart Bostock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Benny Chant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Runnymede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marian the free kick. After 95 played minutes Runnymede got a freekick which was hit by Benny Chant. In the 96th minute of the match Fletcher Mcinnis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bo Allen skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marian players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Runnymede.
