Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tommy Awege made the kick off which started today's match. Jones Worsley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Brent Paull made a huge save. In the 7thth minute of the game Buchanan Maunsell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brinkley's Brent Paull was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tommy Awege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brinkley's James Sibbold in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Armadale's goalie prevented a goal. If Buchanan Maunsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Brinkley's Tommy Awege sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pete Alcock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. James Sibbold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Buchanan Maunsell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armadale's supporters rose to their feet, but Buchanan Maunsell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brent Paull breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pete Alcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Awege, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Brent Paull made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buchanan Maunsell in the 25th minute of play. Buchanan Maunsell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roland Shirdon's late challenge caught a Armadale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Shirdon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brinkley's Roland Shirdon got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Brinkley's goal looked a bit too open when Buchanan Maunsell came free, but Brent Paull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. James Sibbold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Brinkley's Tommy Awege sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pete Alcock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Tommy Awege had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pete Alcock. Armadale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Awege was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pete Alcock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Awege in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Evan Aliendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armadale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brinkley the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Sibbold in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pete Alcock prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Buchanan Maunsell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Brinkley getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Pete Alcock made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Sibbold in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, one of Armadale:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Armadale. After a rather tough play, Armadale's Kane Convine got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Awege in the 77th minute of play forced Armadale's goalkeeper Pete Alcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Brian Knaack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jones Worsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Paull having to interfere. Tommy Awege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pete Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brent Paull took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jones Worsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brinkley had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
