Armadale's supporters rose to their feet, but Jones Worsley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dugald Forrest breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dugald Forrest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buchanan Maunsell in the 17th minute of play. Buchanan Maunsell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wolves FC's Dugald Forrest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buchanan Maunsell in the 21st minute of play. Dugald Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buchanan Maunsell in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Jones Worsley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armadale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jones Worsley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Wolves FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Armadale:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jack Munday kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Jones Worsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Charles Quinn charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
