Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Urania's Rudy Awege started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ringo Surman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urania's Pierre Angell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Sparrow in the 19th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Urania's Marshal Frew ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Navarro Didlock. Navarro Didlock yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Matt Brady struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Pierre Angell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunyah. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ringo Surman in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Angell saved Urania from getting behind. Gunyah's Navarro Didlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Awege in the 39th minute of play. Navarro Didlock made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marshal Frew sent off a good shot on target. Ringo Surman took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierre Angell. Pierre Angell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Sparrow to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Urania's Rudy Awege sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Navarro Didlock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Rudy Miller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunyah and the Urania players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Gunyah got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Miller. Edward Sparrow was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Gunyah's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aaron Haberle hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Urania's zone, Edward Sparrow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Angell came out of the goal and Edward Sparrow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Sparrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Angell having to interfere. Matt Brady hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Rudy Awege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Urania got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Awege. 84 minutes into the match, Ringo Surman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Urania's Pierre Angell. Pierre Angell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gunyah played a much better game than Urania and deserved their victory. The Urania players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
