After 11 played minutes Urania got a freekick which was hit by Bud Sanderson. Alvin Lowes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Haskell in the 14th minute of play forced Urania's goalkeeper Pierre Angell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Bud Sanderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. West Torrens Birkalla's Joshua Lonergan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save West Torrens Birkalla from getting a goal against them. Bud Sanderson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Amos Haskell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Angell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Haskell, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Bud Sanderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. West Torrens Birkalla's Joshua Lonergan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Awege in the 34th minute of play. Carleton Forrest charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carleton Forrest the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carleton Forrest kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Marshal Frew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudy Awege fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Lonergan having to interfere. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Marshal Frew sped through West Torrens Birkalla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joshua Lonergan.

When Rudy Awege came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Urania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Awege couldn't finish the play. Marshal Frew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Lonergan having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Urania's goalkeeper Pierre Angell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvin Lowes. Pierre Angell made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Amos Haskell sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Urania's Pierre Angell got control of the ball when Amos Haskell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 minutes, Rudy Awege mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urania and the West Torrens Birkalla players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Urania getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rudy Awege hit a great ball. Rudy Awege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. West Torrens Birkalla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. There was no doubt that Urania were the better team. Urania's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
