Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brendon Bodimeade started the match with the kick off. Earl Benton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. Arne Tearle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Archie Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Quantong's goal looked a bit too open when Brendon Bodimeade came free, but Earle Potter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Earl Benton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Earl Benton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. Arne Tearle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Brendon Bodimeade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Earle Potter was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Earle Potter made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bremen Whelpton sent off a good shot on target. If Bremen Whelpton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Brendon Bodimeade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minbrie's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon Bodimeade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Earle Potter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dane Keato struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Archie Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quantong. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Tearle in the 45th minute of play forced Minbrie's goalkeeper Archie Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Arne Tearle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arne Tearle made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Quantong's zone, Bremen Whelpton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Earle Potter came out of the goal and Bremen Whelpton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Quantong's Archie Thomas threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arne Tearle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With 56 minutes on the clock, Jordon Durbin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 56th minute, one of Quantong:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quantong. After a rather tough play, Minbrie's Brendon Bodimeade got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 65 played minutes Quantong got a freekick which was hit by Arne Tearle. Brendon Bodimeade struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Earle Potter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minbrie.
