Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brendon Bodimeade started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Stanley Whelpton charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanley Whelpton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stanley Whelpton kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Archie Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamie Chamberlain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Minbrie's Bremen Whelpton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duffield Mackney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 15 minutes in the game, Brendon Bodimeade fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Duffield Mackney having to interfere. In the 25th minute Brendon Bodimeade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duffield Mackney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Minbrie booed when Caurnamont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burns Waters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Richard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. Archie Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Chamberlain in the 32nd minute of the match. If Thomas Richard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Caurnamont's Bennett Matthes got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Thomas Richard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamie Chamberlain struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Archie Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caurnamont. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Richard was the one to do the kick off. When Bremen Whelpton came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Minbrie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bremen Whelpton couldn't finish the play. Bremen Whelpton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Duffield Mackney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Brendon Bodimeade elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Jamie Chamberlain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Minbrie's Archie Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Richard in the 67th minute of play. If Brendon Bodimeade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Brendon Bodimeade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minbrie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Bodimeade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Richard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Thomas Richard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caurnamont's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Richard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Archie Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Minbrie's Archie Thomas got control of the ball when Jamie Chamberlain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Minbrie's Archie Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Richard in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Caurnamont's Jamie Chamberlain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Archie Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bremen Whelpton in the 93rd minute of play forced Caurnamont's goalkeeper Duffield Mackney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Minbrie got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Hitchen. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
