Edwardo Franklin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Ancell in the 9th minute of the match. FC Donks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunjil the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Donks's Jemmett Ryan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Michael Tucknott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rod Gaffigan made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Michael Tucknott could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Rod Gaffigan however easily saved by the left post. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Bunjil's Brynn Goucher got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rod Gaffigan. Michael Tucknott struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rod Gaffigan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunjil. Michael Tucknott was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Bunjil's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brandes Atkin was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Michael Tucknott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Donks's Rod Gaffigan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th match minute, Bunjil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandes Atkin to maneuver through the defense. Rod Gaffigan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Tucknott's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Rod Gaffigan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brynn Goucher, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With his leg Edwardo Franklin managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when FC Donks's Antonia Markou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michael Tucknott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rod Gaffigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandes Atkin in the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, FC Donks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jemmett Ryan to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute of the match Brynn Goucher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rod Gaffigan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Bunjil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
