Edwardo Franklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamie Chamberlain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Edwardo Franklin made a huge save. Duffield Mackney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandes Atkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Brandes Atkin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Bunjil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brandes Atkin couldn't finish the play. Jamie Chamberlain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Edwardo Franklin made a huge save. Michael Tucknott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duffield Mackney having to interfere. Edwardo Franklin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jamie Chamberlain in the 19th minute. Michael Tucknott took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duffield Mackney. Duffield Mackney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Duffield Mackney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandes Atkin in the 34th minute of the match. Bunjil's Edwardo Franklin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Richard in the 37th minute of play. Duffield Mackney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandes Atkin in the 38th minute of play. Darin Benton struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Edwardo Franklin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caurnamont. Edwardo Franklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Richard in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brandes Atkin was the one to do the kick off. Duffield Mackney made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Michael Tucknott sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd match minute, Bunjil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabastian Rhoades to maneuver through the defense. Burns Waters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwardo Franklin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Michael Tucknott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caurnamont's Duffield Mackney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michael Tucknott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Caurnamont's Matthew Guy seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matthew Guy the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Caurnamont protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matthew Guy had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 60 minutes into the game, one of Caurnamont:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Bunjil's zone, Cullen Coburn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwardo Franklin came out of the goal and Cullen Coburn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Caurnamont booed when Bunjil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jared Rear didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamie Chamberlain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Duffield Mackney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brandes Atkin's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Duffield Mackney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brandes Atkin went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Michael Tucknott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brandes Atkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duffield Mackney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Jamie Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwardo Franklin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jamie Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duffield Mackney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Tucknott went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.
