Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brendon Bodimeade started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Montero United got a freekick which was hit by Brooker Cochrane. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Bart Cawthorne put in a rough tackle. 8 minutes into the game, one of Montero United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Minbrie a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cullen Dearn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Montero United's Nichol Lenard. 0-1. Bremen Whelpton took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nichol Lenard. Nichol Lenard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Montero United's goal looked a bit too open when Brendon Bodimeade came free, but Nichol Lenard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Robert Locke came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Montero United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Locke couldn't finish the play. Robert Locke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendon Bodimeade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichol Lenard having to interfere. Nichol Lenard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Bodimeade in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Bremen Whelpton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichol Lenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Archie Thomas was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Robert Locke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robert Locke really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 1-3 became the score in the 37th minute when Bremen Whelpton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nichol Lenard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Bodimeade, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duncan Stanton to make the kick off. Robert Locke struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Archie Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montero United. 55 minutes into the match, Montero United's goalkeeper Nichol Lenard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bremen Whelpton. Ace Moon hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Robert Locke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Bremen Whelpton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minbrie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After 74 played minutes Minbrie got a freekick which was hit by Brendon Bodimeade. Rex Pearman's late challenge caught a Montero United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rex Pearman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Minbrie getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rex Pearman hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Brendon Bodimeade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minbrie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montero United the free kick. In the 77th minute, Brendon Bodimeade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duncan Stanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Thomas having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Ace Moon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Montero United's goal looked a bit too open when Brendon Bodimeade came free, but Nichol Lenard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
