Archie Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Tinsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Pearce Wang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Bodimeade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Yuelba's goal looked a bit too open when Brendon Bodimeade came free, but Pearce Wang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bleyd Weller during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bleyd Weller hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Archie Thomas stood somewhat misplaced when Curtis Tinsley came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. In the 19th match minute, Minbrie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Hitchen to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Minbrie's goalkeeper Archie Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dane Tresise. Minbrie's Archie Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Tinsley in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Yuelba booed when Minbrie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Atkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Yuelba getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Curtis Tinsley hit a great ball. If Dane Tresise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Yuelba booed when Minbrie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Whelpton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Benjy Shirdon in the 37th minute really tested Archie Thomas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Bremen Whelpton came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Minbrie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bremen Whelpton couldn't finish the play. Yuelba's Pearce Wang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bremen Whelpton in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yuelba's goalkeeper Pearce Wang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brendon Bodimeade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pearce Wang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Brendon Bodimeade made the kick off in the second half. If Dane Tresise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bremen Whelpton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Brendon Bodimeade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Minbrie's zone, Dane Tresise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Archie Thomas came out of the goal and Dane Tresise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curtis Tinsley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendon Bodimeade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pearce Wang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Keith Annis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yuelba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minbrie the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendon Bodimeade in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pearce Wang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yuelba's Pearce Wang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Bodimeade in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes in the game, Bremen Whelpton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pearce Wang having to interfere. Brendon Bodimeade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pearce Wang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minbrie's Bremen Whelpton got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match, Brendon Bodimeade tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pearce Wang saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pearce Wang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bremen Whelpton in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Minbrie got a freekick which was hit by Cullen Dearn. If Curtis Tinsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minbrie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yuelba.
