Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alan Czaczka made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Yuelba's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Czaczka came free, but Pearce Wang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck Heys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Grasmere's Sam Ziliotto got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curtis Tinsley in the 17th minute of play forced Grasmere's goalkeeper Bern Whittington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bern Whittington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dane Tresise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Czaczka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pearce Wang came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan Czaczka slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. After 29 played minutes Yuelba got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Tinsley. Yuelba's Pearce Wang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Czaczka in the 31st minute of play. Parker Awage's late challenge caught a Grasmere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Parker Awage helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yuelba getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Parker Awage hit a great ball. Pearce Wang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Czaczka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Czaczka struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Pearce Wang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grasmere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Curtis Tinsley to strike the kick off in the second half. Dane Tresise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bern Whittington made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Grasmere's Alan Czaczka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pearce Wang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Yuelba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rod Alcock to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Dane Tresise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Yuelba's Curtis Tinsley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bern Whittington. Bern Whittington yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Connor Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Alan Czaczka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rod Alcock's late challenge caught a Grasmere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rod Alcock helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that Grasmere were the better team. Grasmere's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
