Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alan Czaczka made the kick off which started today's match. Bern Whittington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandes Atkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brandes Atkin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Bern Whittington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunjil. Edwardo Franklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Czaczka in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Michael Tucknott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bern Whittington. Grasmere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Tucknott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bunjil's zone, Alan Czaczka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwardo Franklin came out of the goal and Alan Czaczka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Connor Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Brandes Atkin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of Bunjil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bunjil. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Grasmere. Luck Heys stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edwardo Franklin. 1-2. Brandes Atkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bern Whittington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Michael Tucknott came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bunjil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Tucknott couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brandes Atkin to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Brandes Atkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunjil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brandes Atkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Brynn Goucher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunjil's supporters rose to their feet, but Brynn Goucher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bern Whittington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 56 minutes, Michael Tucknott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunjil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Tucknott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brandes Atkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bern Whittington having to interfere. Brandes Atkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Grasmere's Luck Heys tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Bunjil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalwood Holdsworth to maneuver through the defense. Edwardo Franklin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Czaczka's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Bunjil booed when Grasmere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Czaczka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bunjil's Brandes Atkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bern Whittington. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. When Alan Czaczka came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Grasmere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Czaczka couldn't finish the play. Luck Heys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd play minute Brynn Goucher came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bern Whittington. 1-4. Brandes Atkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brandes Atkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bunjil had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
