Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Steve Crampton made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Andy Mccormick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwards Smee was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edwards Smee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Cookesley went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Brookes Giddey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Park having to interfere. Carter Czaczka hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Brookes Giddey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Cookesley in the 33rd minute of play forced Qualen's goalkeeper Edwards Smee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bromus booed when Qualen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Magnay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Qualen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bromus were winning 0-3.

George Park showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brookes Giddey, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Carter Czaczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Steve Crampton in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Qualen's Edwards Smee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Qualen from getting a goal against them. Andy Mccormick succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. In the 68th minute, Birrell Bowen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brookes Giddey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Andy Mccormick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qualen's Edwards Smee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Qualen's Steve Crampton got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Mccormick in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwards Smee saved Qualen from getting behind. Edwards Smee came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Bromus's Kevin Cookesley. But to his dismay, Kevin Cookesley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Kevin Cookesley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edwards Smee firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bromus had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
