Norm Sibbold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benard Dalglish in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Lourdes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Raleigh Hamilton. After recieving a nice pass, Warralakin's Ace Szobczak tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Benard Dalglish struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Norm Sibbold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warralakin. Benard Dalglish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Bray Howie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Colling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evan Mckinley, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Black to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Colling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blake Tresise's late challenge caught a Lourdes F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blake Tresise helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Blake Tresise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Colling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Black in the 69th minute of play. Warralakin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bray Howie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evan Mckinley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rob Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Colling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry Black's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Barry Black had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Barry Black shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Colling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warralakin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
