Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dacosta Hemsley took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Bern Jeffress hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Dacosta Hemsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Colling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bray Howie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warralakin's supporters rose to their feet, but Bray Howie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Vaisey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benard Dalglish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Renny in the 32nd minute of play forced Warralakin's goalkeeper Dante Colling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Montero United's Bo Renny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Colling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Dacosta Hemsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Colling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Colling came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Montero United's Dacosta Hemsley. But to his dismay, Dacosta Hemsley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Grant Vaisey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bray Howie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Montero United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Earle Brooks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Colling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bo Renny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montero United's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Renny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Montero United's zone, Bern Jeffress stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Vaisey came out of the goal and Bern Jeffress tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benard Dalglish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Grant Vaisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benard Dalglish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Bray Howie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Vaisey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Colling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacosta Hemsley in the 84th minute of play. Grant Vaisey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benard Dalglish in the 88th minute of play. Dacosta Hemsley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dante Colling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Montero United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
