Sabastian Muddle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norm Sibbold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Stockwin in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norm Sibbold saved Lourdes F.C from getting behind. A collision led to Lourdes F.C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Raleigh Hamilton hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Edward Ashby sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norm Sibbold skillfully saved the ball. After 21 minutes, Sabastian Muddle made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lourdes F.C's Norm Sibbold tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Norm Sibbold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabastian Muddle, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lourdes F.C's Norm Sibbold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Stockwin in the 26th minute of play. Bran Huntington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Black in the 31st minute of play. When Alan Stockwin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Wamenusking fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Stockwin couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Stockwin in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norm Sibbold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sabastian Muddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norm Sibbold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabastian Muddle in the 38th minute of the match. Norm Sibbold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabastian Muddle in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute Alan Stockwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norm Sibbold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabastian Muddle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alan Stockwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Norm Sibbold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Brad Peplow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evan Mckinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Huntington having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Wamenusking's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Mckinley came free, but Bran Huntington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Stockwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabastian Muddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Alan Stockwin made a precise shot to the right of Norm Sibbold. Lourdes F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bran Huntington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Black, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wamenusking's Sabastian Muddle got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quincy Odonahoo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quincy Odonahoo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lourdes F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Norm Sibbold went to the wrong direction when Edward Ashby was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Norm Sibbold came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Wamenusking's Alan Stockwin. But to his dismay, Alan Stockwin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Wamenusking supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wamenusking would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
