He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Sabastian Muddle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Ross was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Carver Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Brendan Jobson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wamenusking's Bran Huntington. Bran Huntington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brye Feutrill charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brye Feutrill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brye Feutrill hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Rudolph Powley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Huntington having to interfere. Alan Stockwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Damian Ross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Stockwin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Damian Ross when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brooklet's goalkeeper Damian Ross, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damian Ross was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brad Peplow showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabastian Muddle in the 36th minute of play forced Brooklet's goalkeeper Damian Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wamenusking's Sabastian Muddle got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bran Huntington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Jobson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Carleton Cuddihy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brooklet and the Wamenusking players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carleton Cuddihy hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alan Stockwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Ross having to interfere. When Carver Lucas fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wamenusking's protests and gave Carver Lucas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Carver Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Brooklet booed when Wamenusking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Will didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Brooklet's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Stockwin came free, but Damian Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Wamenusking's Alan Stockwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Ross made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Edward Ashby fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wamenusking's protests and gave Edward Ashby a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, one of Wamenusking:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wamenusking. Sabastian Muddle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Damian Ross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Ross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabastian Muddle in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Sabastian Muddle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Sabastian Muddle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Ross was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Alan Stockwin struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Damian Ross didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wamenusking. There was no doubt that Wamenusking were the better team. Wamenusking's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
