Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Glanmire's Cole Tout in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rockleigh's goalie prevented a goal. In the 4th minute, Cole Tout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cole Tout came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Glanmire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cole Tout couldn't finish the play. Rockleigh's Edmonds Muddle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Rockleigh from getting a goal against them. Roy Teuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Todd Sparrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Teuma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cole Tout in the 26th minute of play forced Rockleigh's goalkeeper Edmonds Muddle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Rockleigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phenix Glover to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Rockleigh got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Shirdon. Roy Teuma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Todd Sparrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phenix Glover in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Glanmire getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Barth Haslem hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Rockleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Cole Tout came free, but Edmonds Muddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The supporters of Rockleigh booed when Glanmire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Pincini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Goucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Glanmire's Joshua Fordham broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 64 played minutes Rockleigh got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Shirdon. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Benjamin Goucher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glanmire's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Goucher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmonds Muddle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rockleigh's goalkeeper Edmonds Muddle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phenix Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Sparrow having to interfere. Roy Teuma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Todd Sparrow made a huge save. Phenix Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80thth minute of the game Phenix Glover who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glanmire's Todd Sparrow was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barth Haslem kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Loyd Haskell's late challenge caught a Rockleigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loyd Haskell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Glanmire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loyd Haskell to maneuver through the defense. Roy Teuma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Todd Sparrow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Roy Teuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Sparrow having to interfere. Rockleigh's Phenix Glover got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benjamin Goucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Phenix Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Sparrow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glanmire's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
