Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Glenpatrick's Neville Kepert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden Slattery in the 5th minute of play. Dante Arkinstall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raleigh Annis having to interfere. If Dante Arkinstall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Arkinstall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glenpatrick's Dante Arkinstall got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Dante Arkinstall put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Raleigh Annis. Rusty Trims could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Neville Kepert made a huge save. 0-3 became the score in the 39th minute when Ringo Bacon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Ringo Bacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Broadmarsh's Brayden Slattery got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Brayden Slattery fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Damon Muddle kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 50th minute, Rusty Trims got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ringo Bacon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darley Addison during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Broadmarsh got a freekick which was hit by Darley Addison. 59 minutes into the game, Glenpatrick's Dante Arkinstall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raleigh Annis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Neville Kepert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brayden Slattery went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. If Brayden Slattery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raleigh Annis stood somewhat misplaced when Ringo Bacon came free in front of goal and shot 2-5 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Rusty Trims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neville Kepert having to interfere. Rusty Trims received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Neville Kepert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rusty Trims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Bacon in the 93rd minute of play forced Broadmarsh's goalkeeper Raleigh Annis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neville Kepert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden Slattery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Glenpatrick's zone, Rusty Trims stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neville Kepert came out of the goal and Rusty Trims tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 99th minute Brayden Slattery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neville Kepert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Glenpatrick eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
