Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Logan Biddell came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Glanmire's Benjamin Goucher. But to his dismay, Benjamin Goucher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Goucher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Logan Biddell was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Wahgunyah's Logan Biddell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Goucher in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Cole Tout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Barth Cameron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Glanmire getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Loyd Haskell hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Cole Tout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Logan Biddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Goucher in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wahgunyah's zone, Cole Tout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Logan Biddell came out of the goal and Cole Tout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Carlton Woods fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wahgunyah's protests and gave Carlton Woods a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Carlton Woods hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wahgunyah's Logan Biddell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cole Tout in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Cod Williams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wahgunyah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cod Williams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Cole Tout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Todd Sparrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cod Williams in the 63rd minute of play. When Benjamin Goucher fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glanmire's protests and gave Benjamin Goucher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Benjamin Goucher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Glanmire fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Glanmire's Benjamin Goucher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cole Tout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Biddell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cole Tout in the 85th minute of play forced Wahgunyah's goalkeeper Logan Biddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wahgunyah's Cod Williams got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Todd Sparrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cod Williams in the 90th minute of play. Joshua Fordham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Logan Biddell. Wahgunyah's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Glanmire players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
