Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arty Greenan in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raleigh Annis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cliff Benton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden Slattery, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Rusty Trims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brayden Slattery in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cliff Benton saved Blza FC NZ from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Broadmarsh got a freekick which was hit by Brayden Slattery. Cliff Benton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden Slattery in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rusty Trims managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broadmarsh's supporters rose to their feet, but Rusty Trims was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cliff Benton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blza FC NZ's Cliff Benton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden Slattery in the 27th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Blza FC NZ got a freekick which was hit by Cornelius Marcola. Jayden Burton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Raleigh Annis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cliff Benton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden Slattery, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ned Schoenke during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Broadmarsh's Ned Schoenke got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 minutes, Jayden Burton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blza FC NZ and the Broadmarsh players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brayden Slattery to make the kick off. If Darley Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Brayden Slattery dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cliff Benton, 1-3. Cliff Benton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. The Blza FC NZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Broadmarsh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
