The referee ignored Doombup's protests and gave Brendan Bonnison a yellow card for diving instead. Brendan Bonnison kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Hyrule Warriors's James See ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bradley Clinton. Bradley Clinton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Carson Glover was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hyrule Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doombup the free kick. The supporters of Doombup booed when Hyrule Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carson Glover didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Doombup's Duncan Prince nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruce Pinkerton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bruce Pinkerton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duncan Prince, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Bradley Clinton stood somewhat misplaced when James See came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. In the 24th minute Duncan Prince shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Pinkerton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Duncan Prince who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hyrule Warriors's Bruce Pinkerton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Hyrule Warriors's Dalton Howarth got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bruce Pinkerton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Nolan in the 32nd minute of play. Bruce Pinkerton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duncan Prince in the 36th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Doombup got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Bonnison. The supporters of Doombup booed when Hyrule Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Greenbank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carson Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Clinton having to interfere. In the 47th minute, James See reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bradley Clinton. The goal made the score 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when James See stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Benedict Paddle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carson Glover hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Benedict Paddle, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Elliott Nolan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Doombup's Bradley Clinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Soekirno in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Doombup booed when Hyrule Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carson Glover didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 69 in the game by Duncan Prince from a close distance when the talented Bruce Pinkerton managed to make a qualified save. Hyrule Warriors's players were relieved. Elliott Nolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bruce Pinkerton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Doombup got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Bonnison. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mark Soekirno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyrule Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Soekirno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradley Clinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If James See had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aden Curtis fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doombup's protests and gave Aden Curtis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Doombup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aden Curtis to maneuver through the defense. Jonty Fison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bradley Clinton. Doombup's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Hyrule Warriors booed when Doombup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aden Curtis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hyrule Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but James See was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that James See's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradley Clinton was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Doombup players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hyrule Warriors.
