After a rather tough play, Newcastle United Jets's Herman Dollymore got a free kick in the 76th minute. Boorcan's Darryl Connolly shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ray Hoey but with some difficulty. With an all-out effort, Boorcan's Ray Hoey threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dani Glover, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ray Hoey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Glover in the 80th minute of the match. The Boorcan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Herman Dollymore's late challenge caught a Boorcan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herman Dollymore helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United Jets's Herman Dollymore got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Dani Glover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ray Hoey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Newcastle United Jets fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boorcan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
