Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pearce Malacarne kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Newcastle United Jets booed when Tuggerah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliot Mcvicar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Dallas Willding got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ray Hoey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dallas Willding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ray Hoey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Ray Hoey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ray Hoey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliot Mcvicar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pearce Malacarne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliot Mcvicar during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Tuggerah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliot Mcvicar to maneuver through the defense. Brannan Obrien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Randell Legg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kirk Porteus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirk Porteus was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Tuggerah's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United Jets's zone, Kirk Porteus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Hoey came out of the goal and Kirk Porteus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kirk Porteus was the one to do the kick off. Ray Hoey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Porteus, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Kirk Porteus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirk Porteus might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ray Hoey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kirk Porteus ran back to his position shaking his head. Newcastle United Jets's Ray Hoey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dallas Willding in the 59th minute of play. Dallas Willding scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ray Hoey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tuggerah's Dallas Willding got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pearce Malacarne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Tuggerah's Kirk Porteus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ray Hoey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United Jets's zone, Kirk Porteus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Hoey came out of the goal and Kirk Porteus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pearce Malacarne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Randell Legg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Dallas Willding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carman Lovis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tuggerah's Dallas Willding got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dallas Willding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tuggerah's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
