Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clark Rafferty started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Boorcan getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Samuel Roach hit a great ball. If Clark Rafferty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesse Rennie made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Dagan Schulze sent off a good shot on target. Bern Baptiste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Boorcan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Lamb to maneuver through the defense. Boorcan's Antonia Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Rafferty in the 16th minute of play. Clark Rafferty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonia Bleazard having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Rafferty in the 20th minute of play forced Boorcan's goalkeeper Antonia Bleazard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Samuel Roach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dagan Schulze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Boorcan's goal looked a bit too open when Bern Baptiste came free, but Antonia Bleazard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bern Baptiste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Japoonvale's supporters rose to their feet, but Bern Baptiste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonia Bleazard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagan Schulze got free with Jesse Rennie in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Grigson during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Japoonvale's Lucas Grigson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute Bern Baptiste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonia Bleazard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dani Glover to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Ren Butterfield shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesse Rennie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jesse Rennie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagan Schulze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesse Rennie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagan Schulze, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Clark Rafferty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dani Glover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dani Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Rennie having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benney Tarrant during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Japoonvale players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boorcan.
