Olin Paull didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hindmarsh. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Gregory Winkless managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hindmarsh's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Winkless was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olin Paull breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 minutes of play, Hindmarsh's Andy Starling made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olin Paull was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute Jonty Gledden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olin Paull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brad Domenichetti came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Yorklea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brad Domenichetti couldn't finish the play. Gregory Winkless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, Hindmarsh's Andy Starling made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When Hindmarsh's Jacob Cridland in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yorklea's goalie prevented a goal. Andy Starling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Hindmarsh got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Cridland. 35 minutes into the game, Jacob Cridland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hindmarsh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yorklea the free kick. Dalton Salcedo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kane Pinkerton. Olin Paull made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Winkless in the 38th minute of play. Olin Paull showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Starling, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.
Olin Paull made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Starling in the 58th minute of play. Yorklea's Olin Paull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Starling in the 60th minute of play. If Andy Starling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Hindmarsh's Gregory Winkless sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olin Paull narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Yorklea's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Starling came free, but Olin Paull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Yorklea's zone, Gregory Winkless stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olin Paull came out of the goal and Gregory Winkless tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andy Starling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Gregory Winkless cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Olin Paull was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olin Paull stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy Starling's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Andy Starling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olin Paull having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Andy Starling dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olin Paull, 0-4. The supporters of Hindmarsh booed when Yorklea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Cootes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andy Starling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Olin Paull tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Yorklea's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Winkless came free, but Olin Paull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hindmarsh's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
