An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabas Williams in the 23rd minute of play forced Panthers FC's goalkeeper Bernie Merz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Panthers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnabas Williams came free, but Bernie Merz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Mantung's Andrews Whatman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernie Merz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dallas Fessey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bernie Merz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Panthers FC's goalkeeper Bernie Merz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrews Whatman. Bernie Merz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barnabas Williams showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. Barnabas Williams was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Mantung's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 48th minute, Cassidy Whelpton made a precise shot to the right of Bernie Merz. Panthers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Byrne Mcvicar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panthers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Byrne Mcvicar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panthers FC's Alexander Black got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Byrne Mcvicar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Wirth having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Herbert Wirth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
