Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barnabas Williams started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Bronzewing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randell Rafferty to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Mantung's goal looked a bit too open when Bock Babbage came free, but Herbert Wirth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bock Babbage in the 7th minute of play. If Barnabas Williams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Antony Garing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Bronzewing's goalkeeper Stewart Alcock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrews Whatman. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bock Babbage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bronzewing's supporters rose to their feet, but Bock Babbage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Wirth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bock Babbage in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Coote in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Wirth saved Mantung from getting behind. The supporters of Mantung booed when Bronzewing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernie Castner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Douglas Coote managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bronzewing's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Coote was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Wirth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Wirth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bock Babbage, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Andrews Whatman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mantung's zone, Bock Babbage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Wirth came out of the goal and Bock Babbage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bronzewing's goalkeeper Stewart Alcock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Bronzewing's Douglas Coote sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Wirth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute Andrews Whatman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stewart Alcock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Bronzewing got a freekick which was hit by Bernie Castner. Jason Surman charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jason Surman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Jason Surman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Barnabas Williams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Coote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Wirth having to interfere. Stewart Alcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabas Williams in the 86th minute of play. Bock Babbage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Wirth having to interfere. Herbert Wirth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bock Babbage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Wirth was a little too slow when Bock Babbage got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bronzewing had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
