Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barnabas Williams started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mantung's zone, Adolph Digiuseppe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Wirth came out of the goal and Adolph Digiuseppe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brock Macinnes in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Wirth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute of the match Al Munday shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Wirth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Goal fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Goal's Brock Macinnes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Goal's Brock Macinnes got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Goal's goal looked a bit too open when Barnabas Williams came free, but Calvin Hardiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Al Munday notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mantung's Herbert Wirth. Herbert Wirth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Munday in the 27th minute of play forced Mantung's goalkeeper Herbert Wirth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Wirth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Macinnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Brock Macinnes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Wirth was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Herbert Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Macinnes in the 32nd minute of play. Andrew Fortington kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Goal's Blade Mcneven got a free kick in the 39th minute. Herbert Wirth came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Goal's Brock Macinnes. But to his dismay, Brock Macinnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Mantung players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goal were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brock Macinnes to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Adolph Digiuseppe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Wirth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mantung's zone, Brock Macinnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Wirth came out of the goal and Brock Macinnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58th play minutes Brock Macinnes shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Herbert Wirth and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 61st minute, Andrew Fortington made a precise shot to the right of Calvin Hardiman. Goal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrews Whatman in the 65th minute of play forced Goal's goalkeeper Calvin Hardiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Wirth was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Adolph Digiuseppe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adolph Digiuseppe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Brock Macinnes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Herbert Wirth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herbert Wirth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brock Macinnes in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Brock Macinnes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herbert Wirth. The goal made the score 1-7. If Brock Macinnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Adolph Digiuseppe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herbert Wirth, 1-8. When the match was over Goal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mantung throughout the match.
