In the 6th match minute, Sworders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryson Porter to maneuver through the defense. Brooks Laughton kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Kirk Ross sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Giles skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chameleon FC's zone, Buck Quigley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dallas Crampton came out of the goal and Buck Quigley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Chameleon FC got a freekick which was hit by Barry Venz. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jamie Willis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sworders FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Willis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dallas Crampton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sworders FC's zone, Lauder Huther stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Giles came out of the goal and Lauder Huther tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jamie Willis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dallas Crampton was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Arneil Stockwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dallas Crampton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Willis in the 41st minute of the match. If Jamie Willis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Chameleon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Serena to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauder Huther stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Brooks Laughton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sworders FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chameleon FC the free kick. Arthur Kenack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Giles having to interfere. Sworders FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Chameleon FC had won, even though Sworders FC had held more of the ball.
