Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Barry Mckinnes made the kick off and thus started the match. Bronzewing's Stewart Alcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Mckinnes in the 7th minute of play. Bock Babbage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bruce Tarrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Balgowan's Bartholemew Arkinstall got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Douglas Coote ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruce Tarrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Mckinnes in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stewart Alcock saved Bronzewing from getting behind. Bock Babbage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Tarrant having to interfere. Bronzewing's Stewart Alcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navin Swan in the 22nd minute of play. If Douglas Coote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Balgowan defense, Douglas Coote kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruce Tarrant. The Balgowan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruce Tarrant should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Coote got free with Bruce Tarrant in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balgowan's Bruce Tarrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bock Babbage in the 32nd minute of play. Barry Mckinnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Douglas Coote came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bronzewing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Coote couldn't finish the play. Stewart Alcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navin Swan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Barry Mckinnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stewart Alcock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bock Babbage stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bronzewing's Bernie Castner got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Carleton Tupman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bronzewing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balgowan the free kick. Bronzewing:s Stewart Alcock showed great skill when he stopped Bock Surman:s penalty. Bock Surman did an outstanding performance 61 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Stewart Alcock in the goal. When Potter Freel fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bronzewing's protests and gave Potter Freel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Bock Babbage left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bronzewing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Hank Crawford kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Carleton Tupman in the 80th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bruce Tarrant's left hand side. Douglas Coote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Tarrant having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Balgowan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartholemew Arkinstall to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bronzewing booed when Balgowan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bock Surman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Bronzewing's Douglas Coote made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruce Tarrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Balgowan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bronzewing.
