Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bronzewing's Bock Babbage started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bock Babbage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Albert Giles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Bock Babbage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Giles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Giles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Coote in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Bronzewing's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jamie Willis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Sworders FC's Arneil Stockwin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stewart Alcock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Brooks Laughton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sworders FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bronzewing the free kick. Brooks Laughton kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Coote in the 16th minute of play forced Sworders FC's goalkeeper Albert Giles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bock Babbage in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Giles saved Sworders FC from getting behind. Jamie Willis struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Stewart Alcock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sworders FC. Buck Quigley kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Bock Babbage made a precise shot to the right of Albert Giles. Sworders FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bock Babbage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Giles having to interfere. Douglas Coote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Giles having to interfere. If Jamie Willis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bronzewing's Stewart Alcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamie Willis in the 44th minute of play. Arneil Stockwin struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Stewart Alcock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sworders FC. The Sworders FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bronzewing were winning 0-1.

Jamie Willis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ned Goodwin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Stewart Alcock came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Sworders FC's Karl Carragher. But to his dismay, Karl Carragher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Arneil Stockwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sworders FC booed when Bronzewing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blade Brading didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sworders FC's Arneil Stockwin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bock Babbage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bock Babbage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Giles having to interfere. Douglas Coote came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albert Giles could save by the left post. Bock Babbage was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Sworders FC's Brooks Laughton got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bock Babbage in the 77th minute of play forced Sworders FC's goalkeeper Albert Giles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sworders FC! The referee gave Bronzewing a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carleton Tupman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sworders FC's Albert Giles. 1-2. In the 84th match minute, Sworders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Carragher to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes Sworders FC got a freekick which was hit by Buck Quigley. During the 88th minute of the match Brooks Laughton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Brooks Laughton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Bronzewing booed when Sworders FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brooks Laughton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Coote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sworders FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bronzewing's performance. The match ended with a win for Bronzewing.
