Irving Christini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loyd Owens having to make a save. Jastro City's Nick Egel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gatton's zone, Nick Egel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loyd Owens came out of the goal and Nick Egel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jastro City's Nick Egel in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gatton's goalie prevented a goal. Nick Egel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loyd Owens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Jastro City booed when Gatton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Fortington didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Gatton's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Egel came free, but Loyd Owens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Nick Egel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gatton's Loyd Owens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jastro City's Nick Egel got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Jastro City booed when Gatton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Fortington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nick Egel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Owens having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Gatton's goalkeeper Loyd Owens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Mudie. In the 36th minute, Irving Christini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Gatton's goal looked a bit too open when Irving Christini came free, but Loyd Owens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Nick Egel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Loyd Owens. The goal made the score 2-0. Loyd Owens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Mudie in the 43rd minute. Loyd Owens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Egel in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nick Egel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Nick Egel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loyd Owens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Mudie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Owens having to interfere. If Hans Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loyd Owens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Dollamore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Larry Fortington hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Jastro City's Hans Mudie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loyd Owens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loyd Owens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Egel in the 65th minute of play. Hans Mudie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Owens having to interfere. If Nick Egel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Mudie in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loyd Owens saved Gatton from getting behind. Nick Egel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Loyd Owens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nick Egel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jastro City's supporters rose to their feet, but Nick Egel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loyd Owens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans Mudie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Loyd Owens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nick Egel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Mudie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loyd Owens having to make a save. In the 91st minute Nick Egel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loyd Owens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Larry Fortington during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gatton getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Larry Fortington hit a great ball. Loyd Owens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Egel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Mudie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Owens having to interfere. Loyd Owens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Egel, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jastro City fully deserved thier win.
