Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ned Quelch started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, SdnEY Club!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Ned Quelch came free, but Carsyn Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Remington Hoey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasmania Incidence's supporters rose to their feet, but Remington Hoey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carsyn Couzens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ned Quelch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carsyn Couzens having to make a save. Remington Hoey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsyn Couzens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ned Quelch in the 19th minute of play forced SdnEY Club!!'s goalkeeper Carsyn Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Ned Quelch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasmania Incidence fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Tasmania Incidence's goalkeeper Hank Pack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lance Andrews. In the 24th minute, Nilson Keato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carsyn Couzens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remington Hoey, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ned Quelch in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carsyn Couzens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carsyn Couzens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ned Quelch in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Otto Terris sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carsyn Couzens skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Tasmania Incidence booed when SdnEY Club!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Tucknott didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ned Quelch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Myles Bennett was the one to do the kick off. Remington Hoey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hank Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Andrews in the 57th minute of play. When Ned Quelch came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tasmania Incidence fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ned Quelch couldn't finish the play. Barnard Kayrooz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Remington Hoey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Tasmania Incidence's Thomas Potter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Thomas Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SdnEY Club!!'s Nichol Allen got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Remington Hoey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasmania Incidence's supporters rose to their feet, but Remington Hoey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hank Pack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myles Bennett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ned Quelch struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carsyn Couzens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasmania Incidence. When Remington Hoey came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Tasmania Incidence fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remington Hoey couldn't finish the play. Tasmania Incidence's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
