Spectators: 6829 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Darren Fitzpatrick started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hank Pack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Fitzpatrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ned Quelch during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ned Quelch hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Burnbank's Jason Hayward got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Bernie Burton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hank Pack quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 24 minutes into the game, Brandon Ancell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burnbank's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tasmania Incidence the free kick. In the 24th minute, Brandon Ancell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ace Grandison managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Tasmania Incidence's Ned Quelch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Burnbank's Ace Grandison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Burnbank from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Tasmania Incidence's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Hayward came free, but Hank Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Thomas Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ace Grandison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Fitzpatrick in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burnbank's goalkeeper Ace Grandison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Burnbank's Bernie Burton got a free kick in the 41st minute. The Tasmania Incidence players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Burnbank were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ned Quelch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jason Hayward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack got control of the ball when Jason Hayward tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jason Hayward could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Hank Pack made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Bernie Burton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Otto Terris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ace Grandison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Jason Hayward left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burnbank fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ned Quelch in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ace Grandison saved Burnbank from getting behind. Brendon Butterfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ace Grandison having to interfere. In the 76th minute Remington Hoey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ace Grandison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ned Quelch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason Hayward could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Hank Pack made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Burnbank's zone, Ned Quelch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ace Grandison came out of the goal and Ned Quelch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jason Hayward got free with Hank Pack in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jason Hayward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hank Pack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Burnbank walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
