Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Todd Mealmaker got the match started through his kick off. Lucas Keam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mogilla's zone, Ned Quelch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Potter Cookesley came out of the goal and Ned Quelch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Ned Quelch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mogilla's Potter Cookesley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Potter Cookesley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ned Quelch in the 20th minute of play. Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Mealmaker in the 22nd minute of play. Thomas Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Potter Cookesley having to interfere. Ned Quelch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remington Hoey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Ned Quelch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasmania Incidence's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ned Quelch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes, Tasmania Incidence's Arnie Laughton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Potter Cookesley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tasmania Incidence reached it. Ned Quelch took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Potter Cookesley. Potter Cookesley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Tasmania Incidence's Ned Quelch in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mogilla's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute Ned Quelch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Potter Cookesley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Thorne kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Tasmania Incidence booed when Mogilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damon Smoothey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ned Quelch made a kick off. In the 57th minute Lucas Keam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hank Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Keam in the 59th minute of play. Hank Pack came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Mogilla's Lucas Keam. But to his dismay, Lucas Keam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Tasmania Incidence's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Mealmaker came free, but Hank Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tasmania Incidence's Ned Quelch managed to work through Mogilla's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ned Quelch dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Hank Pack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Keam in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Tasmania Incidence's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Mealmaker came free, but Hank Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Potter Cookesley was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arnie Laughton. If Thomas Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hank Pack came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Mogilla's Lucas Keam. But to his dismay, Lucas Keam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee gave Mogilla a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by John Hogan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tasmania Incidence's Hank Pack. 3-2. In the 85th minute Thomas Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Potter Cookesley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Todd Mealmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Butterfield in the 94th minute of play forced Mogilla's goalkeeper Potter Cookesley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Todd Mealmaker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mogilla fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tasmania Incidence had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
