Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) Barry Pearson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ace Grandison having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Eulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jared Phasey to maneuver through the defense. Eulo's Pearce Erwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Hayward in the 9th minute of play. Darren Fitzpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Pearce Erwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Darren Fitzpatrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burnbank's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darren Fitzpatrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jason Hayward in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pearce Erwin saved Eulo from getting behind. The supporters of Burnbank booed when Eulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clark Schultz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Eulo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jared Phasey hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Jess Reisz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burnbank fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Eulo defense, Darren Fitzpatrick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pearce Erwin. The Eulo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pearce Erwin should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Jason Hayward made a precise shot to the right of Pearce Erwin. Eulo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Pearce Erwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Fitzpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Jason Hayward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearce Erwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jess Reisz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Barry Pearson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ace Grandison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Burnbank were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Benson to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Barry Pearson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eulo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Pearson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jason Hayward could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Pearce Erwin made a huge save. After 63 played minutes Burnbank got a freekick which was hit by Jess Reisz. When Burnbank's Darren Fitzpatrick in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eulo's goalie prevented a goal. When Darren Fitzpatrick got free in front of the goal in the 77th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Pearce Erwin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Darren Fitzpatrick reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pearce Erwin. The goal made the score 1-5. Long Kennewell kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Darren Fitzpatrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Eulo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jason Hayward fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aaron Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ace Grandison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ace Grandison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Pearson in the 95th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jason Hayward managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnbank's supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Hayward was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pearce Erwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burnbank's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
