Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carleton Boserio kicked off to start the match. Eddie Munster had several of the Arwakurra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Brent Blattman as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 21st minute Eddie Munster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent Blattman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sunderland's Eddie Munster got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Jamese Rear managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunderland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamese Rear was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 played minutes Arwakurra got a freekick which was hit by Norman Pearce. Barnard Nolan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Adolfo Tout was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunderland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arwakurra the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sunderland's Adolfo Tout got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Phil Aylwin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Eddie Munster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent Blattman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Phil Aylwin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sunderland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phil Aylwin couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Munster to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Munster in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brent Blattman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sunderland's Eddie Munster in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arwakurra's goalie prevented a goal. Brent Blattman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Munster in the 57th minute of play. Russel Sobezak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Blattman having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Eddie Munster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arwakurra's Brent Blattman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jamese Rear sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brent Blattman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Munster in the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Arwakurra defense, Eddie Munster kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brent Blattman. The Arwakurra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brent Blattman should have stopped the shot. Brent Blattman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Munster, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Eddie Munster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Blattman having to interfere. 77 minutes in the game, Eddie Munster dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Carleton Boserio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jamese Rear fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunderland's protests and gave Jamese Rear a yellow card for diving instead. Bryanne Porter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jessop Muddle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Eddie Munster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent Blattman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jamese Rear managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunderland's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamese Rear was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brent Blattman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Norman Pearce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arwakurra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunderland the free kick. A collision led to Arwakurra getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Norman Pearce hit a great ball.
