Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carleton Boserio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bryanne Porter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Brendan Surman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes, Arwakurra's Mack Whelpton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brendan Surman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arwakurra reached it. Bryanne Porter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendan Surman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Carleton Boserio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carleton Boserio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Arwakurra booed when Morrisset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Atkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Norman Mackney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Mackney in the 40th minute of play forced Arwakurra's goalkeeper Brent Blattman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryanne Porter struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Brendan Surman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arwakurra. Norman Mackney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brent Blattman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Atkin in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carleton Boserio in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brendan Surman saved Morrisset from getting behind. If Boyd Atkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryanne Porter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norman Mackney charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norman Mackney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Morrisset getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Norman Mackney hit a great ball. Carleton Boserio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brendan Surman came out and tried to block the shot, but Carleton Boserio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 70th minute. Oliver Trezise charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Trezise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Oliver Trezise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Keefer Chapman came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Morrisset fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keefer Chapman couldn't finish the play. Carleton Boserio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Boyd Atkin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Morrisset fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyd Atkin couldn't finish the play. Boyd Atkin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Brendan Surman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carleton Boserio in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Morrisset's zone, Bryanne Porter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan Surman came out of the goal and Bryanne Porter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brendan Surman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carleton Boserio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 92 minute of play. The Arwakurra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arwakurra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
