Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bock Trezise made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Potter Watts in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alford Schulzte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronald Cawthorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bock Trezise in the 8th minute of play forced Thuddungra's goalkeeper Corder Bailey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elderslie were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Thuddungra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jared Lewry took the corner. In the 12th minute, Burns Hinwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ronald Cawthorne came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Thuddungra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Cawthorne couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Potter Watts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alford Schulzte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Thuddungra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Cawthorne to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Elderslie got a freekick which was hit by Bradshaw Ambrose. After a rather tough play, Thuddungra's Potter Watts got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute Ronald Cawthorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alford Schulzte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Elderslie booed when Thuddungra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasmine Ambrose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quincy Oneill hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half Thuddungra were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
If Potter Watts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Potter Watts did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Alford Schulzte 58 minutes into the match. Potter Watts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alford Schulzte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Thuddungra's Potter Watts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Potter Watts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thuddungra's supporters rose to their feet, but Potter Watts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alford Schulzte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Potter Watts who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Alford Schulzte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The long shot by Benson Sewell in the 82nd minute really tested Alford Schulzte's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Benson Sewell came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Thuddungra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benson Sewell couldn't finish the play. When Thuddungra's Potter Watts, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Thuddungra. With a little luck, Elderslie's Alford Schulzte got control of the ball when Ronald Cawthorne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quincy Oneill kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Thuddungra's Potter Watts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alford Schulzte narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
