Benney Rosenboom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corder Bailey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jasmine Ambrose during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Thuddungra's Jasmine Ambrose got a free kick in the 15th minute. Benney Rosenboom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Corder Bailey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Potter Watts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Potter Watts couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Ed Claringbold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corder Bailey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ed Claringbold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thuddungra's Corder Bailey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Thuddungra from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Rudolph Beale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bajool getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ed Claringbold hit a great ball. When Ed Claringbold came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Bajool fans jumped to their feet. After 70 minutes, Benney Rosenboom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bajool and the Thuddungra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Thuddungra booed when Bajool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benney Rosenboom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jasmine Ambrose was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. A collision led to Thuddungra getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jasmine Ambrose hit a great ball. Ed Claringbold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Corder Bailey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Ronald Cawthorne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Thuddungra's zone, Benney Rosenboom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corder Bailey came out of the goal and Benney Rosenboom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Benney Rosenboom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bajool were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Thuddungra side.
