Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edwardo Phillips made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Archie Fulton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boya and the Mundalla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boya's Archie Fulton got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humphry Rishton in the 4th minute of play forced Mundalla's goalkeeper Mack Heath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Boya getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Brannan Fazey hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Mark Osbiston shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damon Turnor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Humphry Rishton fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boya's protests and gave Humphry Rishton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Humphry Rishton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Whelpton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boya's Damon Turnor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwardo Phillips in the 17th minute of play. Ivan Whelpton struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Damon Turnor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mundalla. Mundalla's Edwardo Phillips got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jerrard Christini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Whelpton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Damon Turnor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damon Turnor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Whelpton in the 34th minute of the match. Mark Osbiston took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damon Turnor. Boya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Mundalla's Mack Heath got control of the ball when Humphry Rishton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humphry Rishton to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mundalla's zone, Humphry Rishton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mack Heath came out of the goal and Humphry Rishton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Whelpton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damon Turnor having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Boya's goalkeeper Damon Turnor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Whelpton. When Edwardo Phillips came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mundalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwardo Phillips couldn't finish the play. Ivan Whelpton struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Damon Turnor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mundalla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwardo Phillips in the 72nd minute of play forced Boya's goalkeeper Damon Turnor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwardo Phillips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Humphry Rishton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boya's supporters rose to their feet, but Humphry Rishton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mack Heath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damon Turnor made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ivan Whelpton sent off a good shot on target. Humphry Rishton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Edwardo Phillips managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mundalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwardo Phillips was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Boya's goalkeeper Damon Turnor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Whelpton. In the 93rd minute, Humphry Rishton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
