Duffield Terris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorimer Coldicutt in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Spuds United booed when Bindle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irwin Wenham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boyce Boneheyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald Kepert having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bindle's Dallas Gissane got a free kick in the 24th minute. Spuds United's Duffield Terris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorimer Coldicutt in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Jarvis Hodge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duffield Terris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Damon Tencer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dugald Kepert. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bindle's Remy Warren got a free kick in the 38th minute. Spuds United's Duffield Terris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorimer Coldicutt in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bindle's Edward Stebbing got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damon Tencer in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dugald Kepert saved Bindle from getting behind.

Irwin Wenham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Kennewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Bjorn Czaczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potter Sugden charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Potter Sugden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Potter Sugden kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Remy Warren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Spuds United's Duffield Terris didn't even have to move. 59 minutes into the match, Spuds United's goal looked a bit too open when Lorimer Coldicutt came free, but Duffield Terris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Jarvis Hodge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bindle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarvis Hodge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alford Goucher hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Barnabas Quinane was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Damon Tencer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dugald Kepert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarvis Hodge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Duffield Terris skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jarvis Hodges short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Duffield Terris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lorimer Coldicutt struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Duffield Terris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bindle. Jarvis Hodge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorimer Coldicutt in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duffield Terris saved Spuds United from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Jarvis Hodge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duffield Terris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorimer Coldicutt in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jarvis Hodge could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Duffield Terris however easily saved by the left post. Bindle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
